I have acquired, wink wink, one of the well known parts cd's but am after some help trying to cross reference a part number to other uk models if possible.

My tailgate catch has started playing up. Sometimes it won't lock and others it won't unlock. I have removed it a couple of times now and gave it a good soak in a freeing fluid like TS10 without a great deal of success. I think the mechanism inside is giving up on me. I have enquired at the "Mitcheldismantlers" and the familiar "BBC Spares" without any luck so I turned to the cd for guidance.

I have located the part Number 69350-87004 or PNC#69350 but where do I go from here?

The only screen I get anything from is the "PART NUMBER LIST" which comes up with a whole list of vehicles with different part numbers.

from the main screen, go to "part number applicable to models", type in the number. Which cd is it? Remember there's at least four cds for each region...
BTW, yours is a 91-ish car isn't it? You're looking in the earlier section, the part number for the later ones is -87007. However, I CAN tell you that the spacey also used the - 87004 item :-)
