After my fan belt snaping on my townace royal lounge 1974cc diesel auto and having to be towed home by the AA, i rang the motor factors i allways use'd after giving him the model number and frame number he still couldnt find an exact match, he needs the old fan belt which ive not got, so im wondering if any has the exact size of the fan belt or knows the part number so i can give him this info and get my baby back on the road.

if you give me the model, chassis numbers and year i'll give you the code. howwever if yours is the same as mine ie a 1990, cr30 then the belt numbers are:

fan, crank and alternator = 90916-02292
aircon and crank = 00332-60835
vane pump and crank = 99363-00800

What year? which belt? One or two alternator belts? A/C fitted?

its a 1990, as from the warning light that came on alternator, water pump, oil pump, my power sterring wasnt effected and yes A/C is fitted.
there is another belt with teeth connected to the crank and another pulley as far as can see.
my chassis number is CR21

I need the full chassis number to do a search ie CR21 followed by 7 numbers. The full model number would also help. These should be on the VIN plate underneath the little carpet flap in front of the driver's seat.

Ooh, it would be a '90, wouldn't it...
Ian's not being obtuse, the pully configuration changed from one fan belt to two in the middle of the year...

got it sorted now :d nice guy at motor factors had 1 in stock after fitting it i found thers 3 belts,
fan belt (oil pump, water pump and fan) and from what i could see 1 a/c belt to crank and 1 power stering pump to crank

hat's off to the nice geezer at h.s.l motor factors who supplied me with the new replacement balco 13c1000 fan belt at a cost of £4.50
