For a diesel to run, you need compression and fuel. Is the timing OK- has the belt slipped or broken? The glow plugs assist in a cold start- are all four getting hot? Fuel- you've checked the solenoid, but is any getting to the injectors?- is the fuel filter OK, and if you slacken one of the injector pipes and try to start, do you get fuel?

Thank you mr.David Miller for giving me some tips in solving the problem with my car.I really appreciate what you all are doing, and would wish to be of any assistance to you or anyone in this website.I checked the compression and found out that it was not high enough to get the engine started. So I put a little oil in the glow plug holes and it started. Now I would like to know how much to torque Specification for this cylinder head and the connecting rod bearing.I am about to change the piston rings.
Thanks for the help
Bertram

If you're going to be doing that, it would be wise to invest in a copy of the manual RM025E from your dealer
