Hi sorry for the delay i had set my net services not to update pages . My Master Ace is a 2WD

have same promlem, was told i would have to buy complete wishbone, as bushes were not replaceable, 2wheel drive 2.2 townace turbo diesel, ihave got a windscreen & other parts from a liteace and all have fitted even though part numbers were different with toyota, parts were the same, parts for townies are had to get in Ireland, but high spec townies(1994 2tone, 80,000 miles) can be purchased for €2500, great value. Any help with the wishbone, THANKS michael

that's not quite right. Certainly for the earlier 89-91 models the 4WD is the one where the balljoint is incorporated into the wishbone (I know I've had to replace one). The 2WD is a traditional bolt-on balljoint. I can send you scans from the manual if you like.

yes please ian I have spoken to my local Toyota man he can get me the bush it comes as a kit with a new shaft as well but at a price

Shaft? That sounds more like the part for the 4WD. Could you e-mail me with your year, model and chassis numbers and I'll check. Also I don't have the 2WD suspension pages scanned so it will be tomorrow (Wednesday) before I can forward you them. Can you wait until then before buying any parts? This doesn't sound right.

There is an upper arm shaft on the 2WD that the upper arm pivots on with bushing at each end. Toyota part No. 04485-28040 - Shaft Kit, Upper Suspension Arm for CR21 (Townace 2WD). Hence the price as it includes everything on that shaft. Did you only want the bushing? 48632-28030 Front bush 48635-38040 Rear bush, see if Toyota can get those for you, will be much cheaper if you don't need the rest. Hate to think how much Toyota charge for split pins!
