I have one F reg 2Ltr Turbo D T/Townace.
It been good to me since i have had it but the Starter motor keeps playing up.
So have decided to part with it.
have had a Stainless Steel Excaust fitted plus alarm.
Engine has been serviced every 6>8months.

Anthony, have you got the chrome trim that goes down the driver's side of the van, built into the plastic trim, if it's straight & clean I'm interested.

Anthony, is it a 4x4 auto? If it is and your plastic trim is dark brown I require the handbrake/gearlever cowl. My cowl is cracked so I would like one without any damage.
I also require the top sliding door striker plate and the two fixing bolts. It is attached to the top edge of the slidding door and can be seen when the door is open. The bottom plate has the contacts for the interior light. I require only the top plate.

What are the chances of getting hold of the rear section of the exhaust or if thast fails both the near and off side handbrake cables. MOT a few weeks away and I can see the £££s disappearing!! What prices are you after?

There is an adjustable "slipper" to take up any slack between pinion and rack. It should be detailed in the archives. I have never had to use this adjustment but, I assume that it is common to most Townace models.

I had play on my Spacecruiser, according to the MoT. Took it to PS specialist - he said that the play was there but should not have been an advisory - took one hell of a big hex drive bit (Allen Key) and 3ft leverage, minimal movement of the lever and all done, that'll be a fiver mate!
In 1999 recon of own unit would have been £89 plus VAT.
