There are two ways to it one take the headlights off from the outside, easier in my case and you room and see what you are doing. The other is there are two plates in the foot well directly behind the head lights, undo the bolts and remove, put hand through and pull wiring harness plug off, pull the plug not the wires, pull the rubber weather seal from the back of the headlight off, it should not come through the hole, remove bulb with fingertips while not cutting your hand on the edge of the hole. Refit new bulb, now this is where the fun begins you have to connect the wiring harness and get the rubber boot on all by feel!
Best of luck. Drivers side has the pedals in the way, and steering wheel gets you at some stage. If you don't have climate control the passenger one is a lot easier!
Bulbs as Rob says.

Hi Sue,

Clive is right that the best way to renew headlights is from outside the van,I renew my off side last week and I have always renewed from from foot well which can be painful, this is how I renewed my headlight bulb
take off the side light by removing one screw and pushing the unit forward about 1inch and it pops out unclip cable connection, you will now see 2x10mm bolts
that hold that side of the headlight unit in place, undo these 2 bolts (now the fun starts)on the other side of the headlight are 2 more 10mm bolts which you have to undo,go to front of van and look at the centre unit that is between your 2 front headlights
(this must be removed in order to get to those 2 10mm bolts)its held in by 6 clips(3 at top and 3 at bottom)
the top of unit pops out and the best way I found to pop it out was to use something thin and made of plastic (I used a plastic ice remover)push it in about 10mm at the top left hand corner and gently lever the top out of clip,do this to centre and right corner and the top can be pulled out about 25mm and this will allow you to look down behind and with the aid of a torch you will see 3 black box like clips direct below the top clips, you need to get hold of a long screwdiver
and gently push down on these clips while gently pulling the unit forward(start on the left side )the centre unit will start to move out and with my one it then just pop out,you can then remove the 2 10mm bolts and the headlight will pop out.once you do it once then you will never renew your bulbs in foot well ever again, good luck

I didn't outline the outside route, as there are so many configuarations. I for example have 3 screws holding the central nose cone in place, then 3 fastners at the top.
