(Home) Timing belt changing warning light

Can someone tell me how to cancel the timing belt light, on a 1997 toyota town ace- 3c Engine.

I think that this has been mentioned before, which interested me as my Litie's Belt needed replacing at the time. Apparently there is a switch either on the odometer, or where the belt is, that turns the light on at 100,000 kms. that just needs re-setting.

I think the setup on the later Townaces is different to that mentioned in the archives.
The speedo on my 1995 3CT Townace is not driven by a cable but by electrical impulses. There was no sign of the switch in the wiring loom.
However on the back of the instrument cluster behind the speedo is a screw in a hole with "0" marked next to it. Next to it is another hole covered by a paper seal marked with "10". Moving the screw from the "0" position to the "10" position has the same affect as the switch on the old Townace I beleive.
It definitely switches off the warning light - will have to wait another 100,000 miles (I have a KM to Miles converter fitted)to see if it works.
