I can't find the voltage regulator, and am not really sure how big it is. I've got a model F '84 space cruiser. I thought it was behind the glove box, but I can't see anything I like there....

Hi Guys

I need to locate my regulator to check the contacts for wear,am I right in thinking the regulator is on the side of the alternator ?

I've found it - take off the glove box and look near the top to the left. It's got a six pin connector in the back and one wire with a bullet connector. It is bolted on by two bots on a metal plate. Mine is a black cube about 3 inches big. But I can't get the connector undone .....
