Hi fellow Townace owners.
Im a new Townace owner, had it a year and have found this site. There doesn't seem to be any mention of Townaces in Essex. I live in Maldon and often see other Townaces. My MOT is due next month is there anything specific that I should check. I also seem to be paying too much insurance £420 with full no claims with Tescos.

i use 1st quote insurance for my spacecrusier and only pay £180 townace quote was only 220

Most of the failures, (lets face it you only get hear of the failures), are suspension bush, shocks, lights and the smoke test, what you don't have to worry about is rust. So replace any broken filamnets, makes sure the tyres and wipers are ok, the window washer works, add a dose of injector cleaner to the tank give it a good run and get it tested.
Fingers crossed pass first time.
Insurance costs vary between areas and usage, so while yours may be higher than some I bet it is not the highest.
