ok i went to kwik fit and they priced me the rear half of the exhaust for £450 ish. when i got up off the floor i thought of you guys and wondered if anyone knows of somewhere (a lot) cheaper

i had my exhaust renewed 12 months back by kwik fit they renewed the 2 boxes,everything apart from the down pipe for £150,where are you,i live in west dulwich london se21 and i used the west norwood branch
i will phone them tomorrow and see if its still what i paid if it is i get will them to print out a estimate and i can e-mail it to you so you can show it to your kwit fit,i have to go there for him to look at my front brakes so it no problem.

Jonathon. My 1990 Masterace has a complete stainless steel, lifetime guarantee exhaust (complete except the downpipe from manifold to flex joint but including both boxes}. It cost £220 from the local Powerflow agent. They have agents around the country and you should find some information on Ace Answers. I have the list of agents and, if you are unable to find any information,(there is a website) let me know where you are in the country and I can advise on your nearest stockist. You have to return the vehicle for inspection, of the exhaust, once a year to qualify for the lifetime guarantee.

At that price you should surely be able to get a custom one made!
Go for a slightly wider diameter (2 1/4"), for more power.
