i have a 89 2ltd 4wd cr 30 the cooling system looses about 500ml every two days and dose not suck back up from the exp/tank . thire is a new rad cap and pipe from tank to filler neck. had her pressure tested today and no lose of pressure or coolant any one know thanks for any help jason

Hi Jason.
There should be a pipe inside the expansion tank that fits onto the expansion tank cap. Is that in place?
Check the top of the filler neck and make sure its smooth. No dents or ridges so that the radiator cap seals properly.
Check the tightness of the pipe from the filler neck to the expansion tank. Gently try to twist each end on the fittings, if they turn then they are not tight enough.
Is the new radiator cap the Toyota float type?

hi david pipe is tight both ends and in the tank .no it is not the toyota float asked them for the float type but told they do not fit the year of the van.i shal check the neck tommorow thanks jason
