Hi. I've just found this site and I think I will be using it often. I have just bought, from a breakers yard, a 1989 Lite ace. It's good points are, velour captains seats, built in tv, built in cool/hot box, roof lights with sliding shades, elec curtains. The bad points are, dented side door, which can be straightened, busted back back window which can either be replaced or a whole new door fitted. It needs to go through an MOT and all the DLVA stuff. I'm looking forward to getting it up and running, and know it may be a challenge so any help in the future will be apreciated. Talk again soon no doubt. x

Angie. You have come to the right place and, on Ace Answers, you will find much information to help you get up and running. Spares are not as difficult to find as many people seem to think. Various breakers have these vehicles in stock and, Intapart of Daventry had two recently and they might be able to help with the door or glass. They have a website. Also, BBC Spares are good stockists and you will find others listed in Ace Answers.
Somewhere, on this splendid Board Of Knowledge, someone will have answers to your queries or will be able to direct you so, all you have to do is post your questions.

Thanks John. Once I get it home and it's cleaned up the insides will be immaculate. And the outside bodywork is in exellent order too. Only a few stone chips on the bonnet. My friend is going to got over the mechanical parts of it, then it will be down to the garage for a pre MOT. Hopefully, soon, it will be on the road, with all my trucker bits and pieces in it. x
