Anyone know any good dealers for servicing in the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire area ? i require my Ace to have a good service, timing belts and water pump changed as recomended.The mileage is 120km and seeing as i have no previous history if this has been done or not i can't take the chance.

I also read another thread about raising the 'power' on the TD engine, removing the 'ERG', what is this ?

Gary,
Can't help on servicing in your area.
ERG fitted to auto's only I understand, part of the Japanese emissions regulations, diverts some exhaust back into the intake at low engine speeds. Not needed in the UK, can be dis-abled.

Hi Gary. Where exactly are you? I started taking my Liteace and Estima to the Engine Room at Oxford County cars. The recent work on my Litie was a bit pricey, but I will admit it did fail the MOT on more than I was expecting! They have several Estimas and Lucidas for sale, so they seem to know a bit about our imports.

As for the ERG, definately worth a look. Anything that will help my Litie be a bit more responsive.

It stands for Exhaust Gas Recirculation so you need to look for EGR, not ERG! Yes, look in Ace Answers but also search the web generally to get an overview.
