The best bet would be to send Bill at BBC Spares an Email. Also, going to your local Toyota dealer would help. You may think that they won't touch grey imports, but these days they have cottoned on to their popularity and you can get all sorts of bits. Takes a long wait, though!

Which is it, you say it's 'gas' we call it petrol, then you say 2y or 2c, if it's 2c then it's diesel, and therefore parts totally different, if you actually give us accurate information to work on we might be able to help.

The numbers still don't add up - the 2Y is the 1.8ltr (1794cc I think), the 2.0ltr is the 3Y - same motor as early model Toyota Van in the US. The later US vans used the 4Y (2.2) - so be aware of that too!

Being Jamaica I would think it would be safe to assume 'gas' is petrol.

My advice - check the complianse plate under the carpet at the front of the drivers seat for the engine number, and then tell the dealer in the US that it is a van with a 3Y motor (if that's it!). He should be able to supply the right part.
The other choice of course is to crawl under and look at them - most have the part number marked on them!
