wheel stud sheared off of front driver side hub which failed mot need to get new stud and best way of removing it it was gone when i bought it 2 years ago but failed latest mot please can anyone help .it looks like it all needs to come apart i've got a 92 liteace 4WD 2.2 manaul td thanks

the broken stud will press out to the rear, but you've got to pull the hub/ disc/ bearings apart to get to it. Likewise the new one will press straight in.
At a pinch, you could just hammer the old one out and use a wheelnut to draw the new one in, but the hub has to be off first...

Drill it out, can't remember how much space there is behind the hub on the 4WD,there is plenty in the RWD. 2 years - may have rusted in so give it a good soak in releasing fluid, without the wheel it should not be under tension, but then it did shear off in the first place.

As David says remove the hub, I'd go for the club hammer and drift to get it out You may be able to use a ball joint splitter to get the new one in.

thanks for your replies just one more question.will it be easy to take apart i've had a quick look and i should be able to do it but not to sure about the 4WD part
