Hi

I have trawled the archives, but cannot find out exactly where to find the relay which is activated when the drivers door armrest switch is made to centrally lock the doors. I believe, it is amongst the relays under the RHS of glovebox. I have activated the switch and tried to 'feel' and hear the relay, but cannot ditinguish exactly which one it is.

Can anyone tell me which one it is exactly. (New shape Townie 2L TD 2WD)

If your relay setup is the same as my 1991 Master Surf Ace the relay is under the right hand dash by the A pillar
To get to it you remove the panel to the right and under the steering wheel and at the right edge feel up it is held by a spring bracket (be careful it breaks easily)as you operate the door switch you will feel the relays trip This is where to connect to if you want central locking on a remote sensor switch
