Thanks for a really inofrmative and helpful site.

My problem is the turbo light doesn't turn on even during the engine start up diagnostic sequence. It was working fine until I had a relatively long fast drive (90-100 kmh for 1.5 hrs) and then a slight uphill climb for around 30 min. I believe I can still hear a whistling sound a bit at the rear but am not sure if the turbo is kicking in. I haven't detected any significant changes in engine performance.

Can this be just a busted bulb on the indicator, or a loose vacuum hose, or worse, the turbo itself?

I have a 95 model royal lounge with 2ct engine (around 100k mileage)

Think you've answered your own question Mike. Bulb, loose/disconnected vac hose most likely. Does the orange turbo light come on at engine check?

Sorry I meant ignition check. Got engine check lights and ECU codes on the brain at the mo - another story.
