The heater on my 1990 TD Townace blows cold air all the time, the temp is reading midway. Can you help?

Blowing cold all the time must mean the heater valve is stuck shut, or there is no water flowing through the matrix.
Check water level (via pressure cap)
Check for air lock (massage the coolant hoses)
Check heater valve (in-line to the matrix)
Check for heater matrix blockage (hosepipe through supply and exit from matrix)
