i`ve seen some townie pics with a ceiling mounted,rear facing tv fitted.can u get them in the uk,and would there be a mounting bracket hidden behind the roofining?failing that,anyone know of any tv make that fits well?

Don't know about the TV and brackets, but you can get a flat panel that fixes to the ceiling, folds flat out of the way and almost out of view.

I made a wooden shelf so that a conventional portable TV fits between the backrests of the front seats. The shelf locks into the trinket tray there and into the feet on the base of the TV and the whole lot is then strapped down tightly.

Feels more secure than having a TV dangling over my head and probably easier to view, though it makes it harder to provide cabin service from the front passenger seat.

try a guy called steve at www.tgonline i just got full dvd/tv package inc all wiring, mounting plates etc for next to nothing. example. roof mounted tv screens start at £85 brand new with years g`tee. good luck
