Hi everyone,back again after a long absence.Just spent a fortune on the Royal Lounge 4wd.as decided to go for new head as so many horror stories about welding on cracks to old heads.Anyway convinced I should go for electric fanbut cannot now afford a new Kenlowe or Pacet.I have seen on the site owners that have used mondeo t/d,mid sized rover,montegos.I have been round the scrap yards and none seem to fit.Also I have yet to find a twin fan for a mondeo t/d,I only have been offered singles and they seem much to deep,o.k.width wise but much deeper than the 12 inch of my radiator.Can anyone give me a difinitive answer as to what used fans will fit and how critical the fit is.Many Thanks guys .A Frustrated owner.

has anyone who converted to elect fan/fans,did you have any problems installing system and once installed
how well did it stand up against the viscose fan.

any information will be very helpful.

anyone reading this should look at rob web site and print it out , i have built up a good file on my ace by printing all the good advice and filing it.

Hi all,Just an update if anyone is interestd.Found super little firm to do my head.Brand new casting,completely rebuilt ready to bolt on.complete gasket kit.plus bolts,for the grand sum of 620.00 pounds.fitting two vauxhall nova radiators side by side,perfect fit with about 3 inchs taken of the bottom.Buying a Pacet adjustable temp.sensor to control them,so things looking ok at this time.In anticipation of having my cracked head repaired I bought a new head gasket,manifold gasket,cam belt,and head bolts,so anyone needing these can make me a sensible offer and they can have them cheap.Also if anyone wants a cracked head to send for repair so they can do a quick change can have it for nothing.
