(Home) Engine misfiring when cold.

my 1996 space cruiser misfires when cold I have changed all plugs and leads which has not cured the problem.
when the engine warms there is no problem
I have looked all over this great site for an answer and need help

Moisture in dizzy and/or cap.

it is the second cylinder that is not firing

Changed the dizzy cap? Got to be electrical.
If it were carb/valves it would be there all the time.

after air dryer on everything to cure damp (thanks clive) I tried again and found it is the 2nd cylander thats not firing the exhaust has a funny smell to it the plugs and leads are ok and when engine warms up ther is no problem

A Krypton tune should find the problem.
Does it start straight off then miss fire?
Have you run the tank until near empty?
Have you disconnected no 2 and run it to see if it misses every beat?
did it miss fire before you replaced plug/leads/cap?

the beast starts firsy time (after I changed starter moter)
I ran out of petrol on way home (problem was there before)

disconcted plug lead while engine was running (insulated cloves) while cold ran the same when warm and firing ok stared to missfire
yes thought problem might be caused by that
krypton tuners in telford say they will not touch it because it is awkward to get at!

Do not know how to fix car
but if you call Intatune (advertise in star)he will tune car for you He will need room to back onto the side off your car
