Hi all, We are Jody & Kelly and we've recently bought an 89 F reg spacecruiser. Its running on unleaded and is running very rough. When accelerating gently it has flat spots & is holding back. However this problem disappears when u accelerate fairly hard. Also the fuel ecenomy is VERY poor (about 130 miles to a tank)!
Does/has anyone else had this problem? If so how do we cure it??? Was thinking about a Kryton tune, would this help? ANY help will be greatly appreciated.

The carb is a twin downdraft, guess the first one is not well? also check the fuel filter, you can just about reach it through the smaller removeable panel behind the drivers seat. Push the seat forwards, tip the backrest forwards, lift the carpet and you should see two wing nuts.
Get it tuned, any problems will be found. 250 miles ish to a tank is what you are aiming for.
