i have a Masterace 2.0 petrol mpv
and in need of the Torque and velve settings to get it back on the road :oS
Toyota in England was unable to find these settings for me or very unwilling

also it`s a push rod engine (no cam belt)
unsure if this makes a differents

Julie,
You don't say what engine, but I think all the petrol ones have hydraulic valve adjusters. They maintain a constant contact with the rocker arm and valve stem (the tappet - so called because it taps), no adjustment is possible or necessary. Easy to spot as there is nothing to adjust with! HTH

Hi the masterace 1990cc petrol engine year reg 1999 manufactured in 1988
what it is my Father has just replaced the head gasket
and now need the Valve + Torque Settings to finsh the job
so any info will be greatly recived

I'd guess at a 3Y/4Y engine. My Spacecruiser manual is out on loan so I don't have the head bolt torque to hand.
Anybody out there help?
