Hi folks, just wondering if you could be of assistance for a very confused owner of a toyota town ace SUPER EXTRA! It is currently parked across town with a dead battery due to the fact that I have absolutely no idea where the battery is located. I lifted up the passenger seat but couldn't find anything remotely battery-like. If you could help me here this would be much appreciated. Cheers!

Try looking under the carpet, in the back of the van, just behind the drivers seat. There will be a metal plate covering it and it sits in a well in the floor. Thats where my Liteace battery is. Hope you get going ok. x

yep

thats the place to look.

you now have to work out why the battery went flat
it can be one of many many many reasons.
how old is the battery
are the battery terminals clean/tight
with battery fully charged and engine running look see if red warning light is off

check the above before looking at the alternator and voltage regulator

Mine kept going flat and I found that the sliding side door wasn't making contact with the shut off switch for the step light. With the door closed, you can't see that the light is on. It was only by chance that I found it. x
