Hi, i have a 1987 liteace fxv 1800 4wd, but it has no gubbings (transfer box???) for it to be 4wd, there's the prper sticker to say it is???Doh confused, can any one shed any light? why do they claim it is 4wd?????

At the new forest day jam last year, a 2WD turned up in 4WD clothes. When the owners asked me how to select 4WD it had me scratching my head for a bit because there was no dashboard switch. Then I noticed it had no front wheel hubs or ratio lever either so it was definitely a 2WD.

Do you have lockable front hubs, 4WD switch on the dash or not? If not then someone's played a mean trick

Well isn't that typical, i wanted a 4wd too, wonder what's with the clothing then? these cars are like children, they are a pain in the butt, but so much fun, and are always coming up with surprises for their unexpected parent/owner!
