has anyone fitted dave mason`s temperature alarm to an older townace with the vertical temperature guage?dave very kindly gave me some info,but said that this type is still being trialled.i`d be very grateful if anyone could let me know,and especially would like details of any modifications to the kit,to make it work at its best.

I only resolved the designs for the two later versions once I was able to do some hands-on measurements (thanks Ian and Jan). Trials, at a distance, on these earlier "upright" gauges are not going well. Please get in touch with me if you have one of these earlier models on which I could make some measurements - by which I mean within, say, 30 miles of Worthing, or of my regular journey to Northampton.
