Three weeks later I am finally able to tell you the outcome & finally able to actually drive the first Townace we have ever had. It WAS the head Gasket!
Thank Goodness the chap we had brought it from took it back & had it repaired, but wait it gets worst because when I went to pick it up I only got halfway home & it stopped completly!! I came back on the back of an AA Recovery van! So back it went again this time it was the disel fuel pump was gummed up.
I have only just got it back today & am praying that nothing else will happen.
I would have kept you updated before now but guess what? I have had trouble with the computer as well!!
Promise I will try to only write good news next time.

Hello Dellowinnz, you aught to have started a new thread because tuning your TV has little to do with Paula's overheating problem. It tends to panic some of us too, because we see an old post resurface and think "oh no what's happened now!" Anyway your TV. If you are in the UK, it won't work. It's a Japanese TV and works on a completely different broadcast system I'm afraid.
