(Home) Red switch

Having great fun with town ace will be investigating the pulley this weekend as advised re my earlier question this week. Have delved through various articles but can't seem to pinpoint info on a small red toggle switch on dash just above left knee height it is recessed and appears to be part of the standard equipment it is tiny by comparison to other switches before I take the dash apart has any one any idea what is it for. Also what clips can I purchase in the UK to retain the lower run of hooks on the curtains into their respective lower rails.

I think if you are referring to the one by the gear lever it, this is to release the gear lever interlock.

Lower curtain hooks, yeah I am looking too, we have a couple of decent curtain shops so I shall be looking there soon.

Red switch on dash. Is yours a 2WD ? Either rear fog light/and or towing switch or non standard 4WD selector switch.
Try the links on Ace Answers for curtain hooks.

2WD with tow bar what is a towing switch? Tracing the switch wire goes into loom I also have an attached fog light but can't seem to turn it on anywhere and front fog lights come on as additional headlights the link wire for rear fog dissapears into engine bay somewhere - is there a pick on the loom already fitted? I am trying a local Arkwright (open all hours) type shop this afternoon to see what hooks they might have for curtains.

OK reckon it's a rear fog light switch. Is the recess directly underneath the rear heater control switch and a horizontal oblong shape? You should have a warning light when the tow bar electrical connection is made (reminds you you are towing),
No pick up on the loom as the Japanese don't have rear fog lights fitted as standard. Easy enough to patch into the front switch though. Needs to be working for the MoT.
any luck with curtain sliders?

Switch is exactly as you suggest which means I'll need to hitch it up to test thank you for that now just need to find the rear fog light switch. No luck with the curtain hooks - shop closed early Saturday but reopens Sunday morning.

Could any one tell me what the orange dash light that looks like what I can only describe as a conservatory is ? It is almost at the end on right. It comes on & stays on a few miles then goes off & comes back on when I've really got my foot down.
Also the green turbo light is not coming on any more, although it comes on at start up.
Just want to say this is a great site & luckily I have managed to answer my other two questions by looking through this site. Thanks.
