go to your local toyota dealer and order rm025e this is a repair manual for 1c,2c,2c-t engines cost £8.50

how your cooling system, you need to make sure that is in tip top condition as spain can get very hot,

i just spent £1000 on my cooling system getting her ready for summer if you are having cam belt renewed you best renew water pump and water stat,i would have rads tested for leaks (4x4 masterace have 2 rads)my bottom rad was blocked and my up right had a leak,i had both re-cored cost £350.
thing most likely to go wrong with cooling system

1,leak on hose connection
2,leak on rad
3,rad cap fault
4,fault on stat opening
5,part blocked or blocked rad (4x4 have 2 rads)

i had 4 leaks on my system and can get you confused if you repair a leak and still lose water,i kept putting a large sheet of cardboard under the engine at night and inspect the next morning,it showed me how many leaks i had and what position to look, the last leak took me afew weeks to find it was on a hose next to the block and protected by a metal heat shield from the heat of the turbo,i am now leak free,i know for a fact that i had some of these leaks for afew years and by using the cardboard i started to see a pattern, the last leak would only leak when engine was labouring and turbo got very hot.
