I think 48815-30100 middle two and 48815-28030 end 2. Listed as quantity 2 against the part no so assume you get two/

I need same info (part no.) for my 1998 Hiace Super Custom 4WD Turbo Diesel 3 litre. My garage cannot find the model no. and therefore cannot order the part. They cannot find the ID plate with all the info either, anyone know where it is? (Got the chassis no to right of drivers seat but not the full VIN plate)

Clive/Dennis

Right part numbers, wrong assumption. Just collected same parts for mine but when ordering they assured me that the figure in brackets is the number you SHOULD order to do the job NOT the number of parts you will get in the bag.

It is illegal to not have a VIN plate. Are you saying it is missing or that you can't find it? If one of the other Hiace subscribers to this site could provide the location of plate and/or their model number then you should be able to lift chassis and engine numbers from other parts of your vehicle. Then we can get the part numbers for you.

On my 92 supercustom its all under the passenger seat. under the carpet flap.
The chassis number is as you have already found.

Thanks for the replies. The Registration document yields the following info.KZH-106-0034982 is the VIN/Chassis/Frame no. and 1KZ-34982 is the engine no. but the dealer says he needs a model no. for the part order. A net site found on here yielded the further reference KD-KZH106G-JRPET for a jun 98 with my spec, is this extra bit the model no.? I have yold my garage that the VIN plate should be under the carpet by the passenger seat but they say it is not there nor any tell tale screw holes to indicate it had been removed.

Any further help much appreciated, it is good to know I am not a lone Hi-acer!

Yes, that reference with the letters is the model spec. But the dealer should be able to decode all that from the frame number- if he can be bothered, if he has the right frameno cd to hand...

Lift the engine cover.
Then the carpet flap that was under the passenger seat can be pulled back to reveal all.

It will give the engine code, paint code, axle codes etc.
If its not there (ie: removed) there should be holes or some evidence that it was there.
I would guess the model (from your info)to be KZH106G. Be sure it is your 'exact' spec though, as there are a number of specs.
You do already have enough info for the toyota dealer to find the bits.....
