hi all
i have just got the 18 head bolts for our townie from bbc spares but not sure they are the right ones.

10 of them are about 5&3/4inchs long and 8 are 4&3/4inches and they are not hexagon heads on them but star shaped would phone bbc spares but closed for 2 weeks. are they the ones i need thanks for any help jason

have you got the repair manual for 2c-t if not i can send you some information on cyd-head have you e-mail
not sure about the length of the bolts

the bolts should have a cavity in the head,page em-66 shows a picture of a bolt send me your e-m and i will scan these pages for you

Early hex headed bolts were superceded by bi-hex...

If I remember correctly, the longer bolts fit the head under the rocker cover and the shorter ones fit the head outside the rocker cover. Once you start removing the bolts it will be obvious.
