Help

I had a bit of a strange job on my hands with the sliding door of my townie!
the bracket found at the back of the door half way up was bouncing around loose and i thought that it was a simple job of tightening up a few bolts!!!

WRONG!!!

the sliding mechanism is held in place by two robust bolts and no vibration will ever loosen them (which is good)

But the bracket that holds the mechanism onto the door is only held in place by four spot welds ( potential weak spot) and two of them had completely gone, hence the looseness.

To fix the problem the door had to be removed and two 6mm roofing bolts were used to support the bracket.

The door was now fixed and it was put back into place.

WRONG!!!

the problem is that there has been so much heavy ware and tare on the door that the two nylon bushes have worn away and the door still will not close properly!!

the question is:- Where can I get these nylon bushes??
Or do i have to buy a new Mechanism for the door??

Please help???

hi i replaced my wifes model f bushes with 2 £1.49 door clips (the ones that push in to a spring housing )
i found the small plastic wheels fitted straight onto the mountingd
