hi, reading the new owners tips it said adjust EGR valve for better power and economy. what is it , where is it and how do you do it? , thanks , andy.

The EGR valve is fitted to automatic diesels only.
If yours is auto diesel, the EGR valve is mounted behind the air intake pipe that feeds over the back of the engine. Its round, about 3 to 4 inches in diameter, and has a rubber pipe attached to it near the top. To disable it just pull the rubber pipe off and block it up. The most effective way is to bend it back over itself and secure it with a couple of cable ties.
