i have an estima 2.2td manual gears 1992 and have recently experienced overheating problems,apparantly after an assessment by a toyota dealer they tell me i need a new water pump - temperature switch - and diesel pump which is leaking from the housing, for toyota to put right would cost £3,000 approx , the bulk of this being labour. This is my first 4x4 and paid £3,000 for it 4 months ago ,funnily enough it runs brilliantly untill high speed 60mph and over.
I would love to keep it but not at this cost.
Has anyone got any usefull info , maybe second hand parts or repairing these pumps.

just on the off chance that it might be same pump (doubt it) there is one for sale on ebay Item number: 2472909159 . Its off a 2.0l townie but you never know it could be same as in yours worth a look at least. good luck
