(Home) Suspension leaning

just noticed my ace has developed a lurch. the gap between tyre and wheel arch on n/s rear wheel is a couple of inches lower than on o/s. checked dampers, springs etc, all appears ok. any ideas?

Dying spring or damper- remember the rear dampers are gas so a loss of gas will decrease ride height slightly.

thanks for the reply, how do i diagnose between spring and damper?

Remove springs and compare free lengths, and disconnect or remove dampers to check that they a. extend themselves under gas pressure and b. offer comparable damping during rebound and compression.

thanks,
i'll give that a go when i get some time. any idea how much springs or dampers (tems) cost?

you can level up your ace quite easily as the front suspension is on torsion bars which are adjustable. my bus was too high at the front so adjusted torsion bars until bus sat level.
