(Home) Reconditioned engine

Can anyone recommend a reliable source for a reconditioned 2CT engine.

Hi Paul,

I got both a 2CT engine and a 4x4 gearbox from Nipponspares.com, of Stratford, London. (0800 031 9982) Both items arrived looking very dirty and had obviously not been touched since they were removed from their previous vehicles, but both proved to be in perfectly good working order. IIRC, the engine cost me around £500 including VAT and delivery.

Hope that helps,

Tom

It would be them very grateful, if they could help me to solve my problem. I have a toyota townace year 91 with motor 2 c-t

I am Spanish and I have lived for two years in the north of Chile, tengo this car and I like a lot I have had many problems with the breech, but well with those that say to be called mecanicos, que they have been able to never since here to repair it well that don't know anything about anything, said all over the world there is not nobody that knows how to work, neither this neither any car.

Between another person and me, we have repaired the car and he/she would want they told me to how many you get rid it should press the screws of the breech that is to say torque of the breech screws that I believe is two different pressures, one for the screws of 12 mm. and another for those of 14 mm.

Is another question As much as time would take in sending me a manual of instructions for the repair of this motor? ? that is to say when they believe you that it would be in my power. . . . . Is there manual of electric installation? ?

Without but at the moment he/she thanks them, Pedro Ferrer

Hi Paul

Whilst repairing a repeated head gasket failure on a 2CT engine, I discovered that the keyway for the crakshaft pulley was damaged beyond economic repair.

I obtained a imported replacement engine from API Engines; see
http://www.apiengines.com/frame2.htm

This was not a new, or reconditioned, engine but was stated to have done under 40,000 miles. The engine was bottom-end inspected and torqued-up, bench-tested before free delivery and came with a 6 month/6000 mile warrantry.

The engine has been fitted and has given absolutely no problems. ( I have, for further peace of mind, fitted a 'Dave Mason' temperature signal linearisation and warning kit)
Good luck!

Salud Pedro!
Vea http://mpvi.net/ih/indexhan.htm

Adios!
