(Home) Scottish owners look

Where are all you guys that own one and live north of the border. We need to start something right here in SCOTLAND. I live in Stranraer and in my street alone there are 2 cruisers and 2 townies including mine. But we never hear from anyone else up here.!!!! If we could show force we could have our own Ace Jam. Our own little Scottish division of Townace.Com Lets hear from you and start something good...........(nearly forgot about Tom up in Aulbea..good on you Tom)

blimey, maybe it is just thee and me, iain... :-)

What you/we need is a decal across the front and rear windscreen saying "townace.com" then at least some of those uninitiated Ace owners will notice, join in and wonder how they ever managed before.

Plus we'll be able to spot who's already joined in.

Funny you should mention that Dave, I happen to have 46 decals in stock at the moment. If anyone is interested they can email me, or checkout my home page on www.townace.co.uk to see how they look on the van.

I have also added a couple of photos of the Scotish chapter on my website. www.townace.co.uk/page3.html

Iain

I was referring to the vehicles as plodders, not the owners but if you want to make that connotation then that's up to you (LOL)

- (#10388) Ian Dunse (Derbs), 27 Apr 04 04:46

I say there is not a lot up with the vehicles so it must just be us geriatrics after all.!!! Never mind at least we still have a sense of humour. So where are all these other northerners then ?????

- (#10388) Iain, 27 Apr 04 05:00

Sorry but 0-60 mph in about 24 seconds! I call that plodding.

- (#10388) Ian Dunse (Derbs), 27 Apr 04 06:32

Hi guys, I just noticed this posting as I haven't been on the site for a wee while... (yep the Townie is behaving itself!) I'm based in E.Kilbride near Glasgow, and have a 1994ish 2WD, 2.2TD, Royal Lounge in Charcoal/Silver. I would definitely be up for a wee jam up't north at some point. G
