(Home) Windscreen washers

This is a really odd one. My front washers stopped working recently and I mentioned this at the next service. My garage (who I have always found good) advised me that it was the simplest fault in the world..... The tube had become disconnected from the washers. However, the path is hidden between a double skin and they can't find an easy way to reconnect it. They didn't want to waste my money stripping more and more bits out, so suggested that one way would be to cut new holes and fit new washers, dropping a new feeder tube down through the double skin at the same time. Sounds ok but does anyone know a simpler method. Or how to disconnect the existing washer units which seem to be held in by inaccessible clips?. Many thanks for any help.

On the hiace it all runs behind the dash.
A torch and mirrors should trace the path and fitments.

Garage is indeed correct, the removal/re-connection of the washers needs a lot of the dash to be removed, even then it is very difficult to put it back as Toyota intended!
If you choose to fit new ones don't forget that they need to stick out as far as the existing ones for the jet to clear the wiper blades.
How about fixing the supply to the wiper arm?
