Off the top of my head and for my 2WD auto Townace -
1 = 500 Kms to tankful if lucky
2 = 550+ plus better running.
3 = 600+ plus better running, more omph, nice smell
4 = over 700 (a few times on long trips). Little harder to start from cold.

I'm currently running my Hiace on a consignment of Clive's home brew recycled chipshop oil!

It's good stuff. I've done about 100k's on it now and the motor has become smoother and quiter as the diesel gets worked out of the system.

Starting is only taking one extra turn of the crank and the motor runs smoothly from then on. There also appears to less of that diesel clank about the running.

It smells like a cross between the local chippie and that Castrol-R smell you get at motorcycle Speedway!

Thank you Jason for the kind words about my home brew.
Modified waste vegetable oil, to give it it's full title, as produced by bio-power, see www.bio-power.co.uk for details and a supply near you.
