(Home) Side winds, suspension, tyres

My 1990 Townace is quite frankly a bit of a wind sock! Is there anyway of adjusting anything to avoid the felling of toppling over on a windy day? Shockers and springs are ok, my tyre pressure is 40psi all round. Tyres are 195 70 R 14 as per the spec on the door plate. Any advice appreciated.

Jim have you got a 4WD?
I went from Spacecruiser to 2WD and noticed an increase in unwanted lane changes!
Suspect the 4WD may suffer even more?

My 4WD Hiace suffered badly, but I found getting the front wheel alignment setup makes it more stable and controllable in these conditions.

I have 4WD MasterAce. No problems with crosswinds since changing tyres to 95T load rating. Different story when it had 75 rating tyres on. Tyre pressure now set to 35psi as indicated on the door post label.
Check your load rating on each tyre. Tyre walls are softer on standard car tyres. Ray...
