Last year I had my exhaust renewed by Powerlow at Harlow,I contacted them thurs06/05/04 to find out if they could fit the Downpipe,but the answer was they do not do the Downpipe.There seem to be mixed reports on ACE ANSWERS about Powerflow full Systems.The only answer I could get from Powerflow at Harlow was we do not do the Downpipe.By the way my Vehicle is a 1992 Master Ace Surf 2 Litre TD

I think that these excellent systems (I have had one on my Masterace for the last couple of years) are competitively priced to cover the main pipe and two boxes. However, to remove the downpipe, with the difficult access to the flange on the turbo outlet and, possiblity of stud breakage etc, would overcomplicated a straightforward job. I think that some of the Powerflow agents, who, after all, only have the Powerflow franchise as a small part of their business, would consider making up a downpipe with it's welded flange etc, but the price would be out of proportion to the rest of the exhaust system. The Town/Masterace downpipe assembly is very robust but, of course, it sometimes needs replacemnt. My local Powerflow agent was reluctant to get involved with replacing my downpipe which, fortunately, was, and still is, in good condition but, he advised that he would consider the fabrication of a s/steel one, if the customer took the item off the vehicle and made it available for a pattern to be made.
