(Home) Exhaust downpipe urgent

I got my downpipe from BBC Spares aquick and good service.the only problem is getting the pipe off the Manifold,I got one of three bolts the stud came with it
but the other two will not budge any suggestions on how to remove them anybody Cheers.

Willian, snap on do a socket with a helical or spiraled set of teeth on the inner circumferance for just your problem, flag down your local snap on van and be armed with one of the nuts you have already removed for a perfect match.. hth jim

cheers Jadgo but I have searched phone book plus my internet search engines but I cannot find Snap on sockets listed anywhere.Has anyone got a phone for snap on sockets.

They run local franchised dealers, van based. Same with Mac tools. Flag'em down when you see them. However, you could try their online store at

On the 'net might also want to try franklin tools (can't remember the addy...)

i found the easiest way to remove the front damaged downpipe was to cut it off above the bend thus enabling you easy access with socket to get at the inside nut use wd40 a few hours before tackling the job.sorry i forgot to post this earlier.

Studs and nuts about £3 from Toyota, while you are there get the correct exhaust gaskets.
