Hi Clive.
You were right,about attaching door motor link onto the door locking button.First remove lock from van, follow door locking button down to where it attaches onto lock,right next to it drill a 6.5 hole (very tight doing this!,got to make sure drill bit doesn't wander),insert a special retainer like the one that holds the door locking button link in place,then insert the link from central locking door motor in to this,refit lock into van,connect everything up and away you go!,"Job done".

You are welcome, but I think more thanks should go to Mr Toyota for having the foresight to leave enough room to fit an extra hole.
No more leaning accross to undo the passenger door, can't be bad.
