driver sill driver side on my space cruiser has rusted through is this an mot failer and wher can I get some from

Not part of the MoT, provided the body is not flapping and there are no jagged edges.
I got some plates welded on mine when it went, along with both rear quarters and the near side sills each side of the sliding door. Covered with Hammerite and top coated six weeks later looked ok.
I lived in London at the time and was unable to source any replacements. Toyota were able to supply the complete side for over £2000, I gave it a miss.
