I have just rebuilt my 2c diesel .When it is cold ,it starts up right away but when the temp. guage reach half it would not start. thankyou for your in advance

Start as in won't crank or won't fire? And if it's hot it'll continue to run?

If it won't crank suspect starter breaking down when hot. If it won't fire, suspect a pump or timing issue. There's extra timing advance when cold, perhaps the pulley is a tooth too retarded?

thank you again for your advice .i am from the bahamas and we do not have much information on japaniese diesel only the major car dealer and they do not give information on them.however i would be elated if you would give me some information of how to obtain uptodate manualon toyota diesel. thankyou everyone especially mr.david miller.
