I have a townace super extra 2l turbo diesel 4x4 and im looking for another 2 ct engine as mine has died.what i would like to know is would it make a difference if the 2ct engine i get is'nt off a 4x4 will it still fit to the existing set up

If it comes out of another townie it'll be damn near perfect, I believe only the vacuum hose routing will differ. If you get one out of a Carina or Camry you'll need to swap manifolds, ancillaries, mountings etc.
