(Home) Jam 2004 Brean #7 review

Well what a difference a year makes. Clear blue skies and soaring temperatures means that this year I have an excuse for the sun burn...SUN. Not that I need an excuse because Tracey came along too, and is already looking forward to next year.

I managed to take a few photos and have put them up on http://www.townace.co.uk/page6.html
If anyone has some more and would like me to add them, then just send me a copy with the names involved and I will put them up. Apologies to the people who's names I can't remember, my head is like a sieve when it comes to names, so I hope you wont be too upset with me. Hope you all got home safely and thanks Clive for a smashing event.

I had a great time, my son and his mate had a great time, can't be bad keeping to teenage boys happy!
Thanks to Tony for the BBQ, guess there were no flies in your tents?
Thanks to the Cardiff MoT man, see I've forgot the names already, for fixing Claires windows.
Arkwright, sorry Dave AKA Acefleetdave, had his shop open all hours, and thanks for the stickers.
Thanks to the rest of you, sorry I told you I forget names, for turning up and making it happen.
A detailed write up will appear on Acefleetdaves web site shortly, along with some photos.
Anyone interested in next year?
See you at Bridport

I would like to add big thanks to Clive for the organising of the Jam, my family thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

Must say its a rarity for me to put up a tent in sunshine, usually as soon as I get the tent out of the car clouds appear and rain begins to fall.

It was nice to see some faces I recognised from last year and meet some new people this year.

Will hopefully make the Bridport Jam, depending on how wife is feeling pregnancy wise.

As for next year, you count us in for definate.

Cheers
Tony and Tribe

Me too - I would like to add my thanks to Clive and the cook and everyone else for the event. Being one of the last there and one of the first to leave, I regret not staying longer and not saying hello to all of you. Had to go early, as my dad has to be looked after. I have photos, but will have to put them up later. It was a glorious weekend and yes - I will be there next year. Perhaps we should all have name badges - Jo

Will be there at bridport and if tony cant make it to do the BBQ will be happy to burn anything you want..... have got some very good pics as well really wish i could remember all the names, perhaps dave can label his pics on the web site, see you all soon....and thanks clive for organizing a very good event...

Again a big thanks to Clive for getting us all there together on such a lovely weekend, even more thanks to the Cardiff guy (sorry its this name thing again) for sorting out my problems and to all for providing info that has given me the car confidence to read the website properly and try it out before bombarding the message board with problems (thanks Clive again).
Kids really enjoyed themselves, when they're happy so are we. And as a bonus I got to nosey everyones tents so we know which to buy when the moneys there.
Hope to meet all again next year
