(Home) Suspension greasing points

Could someone please tell me the where abouts of the grease nipples are on a 1990 4WD Super Extra Town Ace as I can't seem to find mine, also Clive if you read this my daughter is very thankful you did not mention her getting stuck on the climbing frame at Brean.

Do you mean for the upper wishbones? Clean away the mud and crap from the top mid section of each wishbone. You should then see a 10mm nut. You take that out and screw in a 6mm (I think) threaded grease nipple, preferably one with a 90 degree elbow. (A few bob from your car spares). Then pump in a few shots of moly grease. Repeat annually and you should avoid a bill of around 500 quid to replace a knackered one - like I did 2 years ago!

I don't have a 4WD but aren't there also points at the forward end of the wishbones, and on the prop near to the transfer box?
On my Spacecruiser there was also one on the spider just before the rear diff, not got one on my Townace?
2WD has one on each upper ball joint.
See all that and i did not mention any climbing frames, is she still red faced?

the bottom balljoint and tierod ends that have no grease nipples on the front suspension can be refilled with moly grease using a 5ml syringe and 18 guage needle, inject through the boot at a tangent to the outside edge,on the seam, this gives more sealing power to the hole and helps hold in the grease, excess grease will come back out as needle is removed, lots of force is reqired to push it in through the needle, warming the grease will help. use soft moly grease. cheers.
