90 2lturbo D Townace.

I need to replace the fluid in the box (now brownish and low) I can see the sump nut for emptying and i can see the dip stick. I even know how to stick in d and check the level with the engine hot. But where is the filler cap. Dont tell me i syringe it down the dip stick?

yes down the dip stick tube
the same on all automatics i have had

Instead of using a syringe to fill the auto box I use a small funnel and very very slowly pour the transmission fluid into the funnel and down the dip stick tube. It's a job that I will be doing on my Townie this weekend.
