(Home) Coolbox not cold anymore

All you owners out there lucky enough to have a small fridge (just infront of the auto-gear select)know how handy it is. Mine has been great but doesn't chill like it used to . Could it simply be the fuse or is this a common problem???
Also whilst i'm here, making a long round journey in a month or so(NW England- Anglia- Cornwall, back to NW) I've had acouple of problems with my ace and need some kinda brackdown cover. Idon't need it for any more than 2 weeks as i normally only drive very locally. Any sugestions ?

Could be the A/C gas getting low, may also be dirt in the system clogging up the coolbox (common fault). How is the A/C in the cabin, as good as it used to be?
Don't know of any UK travel cover.

My A/C works well both front and rear, moreso at higher revs (this could have been due to belt slippage - hopefully rectified with belt dressing recently).

However, my coolbox doesn't cool well, if at all. Vehicle was purchased as such so I don't know any history. I have yet to take off the cladding for the coolbox to try and source the problem. Any hints/tips?

thanks
Andrew

The A/C repair man I used said it is a common problem. Most owners run the A/C at least once a week to keep things working, they always turn the cool box on as well. This tends to silt up due to non use, the valve in the cool box can not be cleaned/cleared and has to be replaced.
